About Madison Lussier
Madison earned her Juris Doctorate from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia (UBC). During her time in law school, she served on the Executive Team of the Allard Law Women’s Caucus and contributed as an Assistant Editor for the UBC Law Review.
A native of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Madison graduated with Distinction from Vancouver Island University (VIU) before attending law school. She represented VIU at the United Nations’ 2020 Peace Summit for Emerging Leaders in Bangkok, Thailand, and her work on gender justice in the Asia-Pacific region has been published by the University of Toronto Press.
Before joining Spectrum Family Law, Madison completed her articles at a boutique firm where she represented clients in family law and criminal law matters. Assisting clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives has shaped her empathetic, professional, and trauma-informed approach to advocacy. Although she now specializes exclusively in family law, her confidence in the courtroom is largely derived from her previous experience in criminal defence.
Madison is particularly passionate about the rapidly evolving field of fertility law and family building outside the bounds of heteronormativity. Her dedication to staying at the forefront of legal developments in this area ensures she provides comprehensive and forward-thinking legal advice to her clients.
Outside of the office, Madison enjoys humbling herself on both the golf course and the dance floor.
Madison looks forward to assisting you with your matter. Please call us or complete the inquiry form, and a member of the firm will be in contact with you promptly to arrange a consultation.
