About Isabelle Kim

Isabelle is an associate lawyer practicing family law in the Edmonton office. She earned her Juris Doctorate at the University of Alberta and finished her articles at Spectrum Family Law. While studying at the University of Alberta, she contributed her time to Student Legal Services in the criminal division and engaged in family law work at the Edmonton Community Legal Center.

Isabelle encourages the resolution of conflicts between parties through alternative dispute resolution and collaborative methods. Nevertheless, she acknowledges that litigation may be necessary in certain circumstances. She has represented clients in both the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and the Alberta Court of Justice. Isabelle appreciates that every client has distinct needs and requires tailored solutions for their family law issues. She has a special interest on assisting families with adoption processes.

When Isabelle is not in the office, you can usually find her running trails, checking out Edmonton’s newest restaurants, or cuddled up with a good book and her cat.
