About Chanice Pfau
Chanice earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Alberta. During her time at the Faculty of Law, she volunteered with Student Legal Services in both the Civil and Criminal divisions, as well as the Trans ID Clinic.
Upon completion of her articles with Spectrum Family Law, Chanice joined the firm as an Associate lawyer. During her practice, she has successfully represented clients in the Alberta Court of Justice and in the Alberta Court of King’s Bench. She understands that her clients are often going through some of the most difficult times in their lives, and she brings an empathetic and trauma-informed approach to her practice.
While litigation may be necessary in some situations, Chanice encourages alternative ways to resolve family law matters when appropriate, such as settlements or attending mediations. Chanice understands that there is no one solution that will fit all clients and believes in providing personalized options and solutions to each client’s unique situation.
Outside of the office, Chanice enjoys spending time with her family and friends, diving into her Dungeons and Dragons campaign, and spoiling her two cats.
